With user-based rules and permissions, professional user authentication and – last but not least – the user-friendly design of our interface, you can be sure that the rules in your different security zones are fully respected. This license activates firewall functions and provides firmware updates and support services.

Intelligent, consistent network security is no longer something to covet, despite maximum flexibility while maintaining low operating and maintenance costs: Used in cloud scenarios or conventional networks, the next-generation firewall (NGFW) LANCOM vFirewall provides the same security and functionality as the hardware-based LANCOM R&S®Unified Firewalls. It has no conventional hardware taking up space. The LANCOM vFirewall simply works in a virtualized environment based on a hypervisor such as VMware ESXi, Oracle VirtualBox, Microsoft Hyper-V or KVM. The flexible licensing model allows your virtual firewall to “grow” with your UTM performance and network size needs.
